Whether you are serving coffee, greeting hotel guests or building a fence on an organic farm, the GLC Work & Travel Program will allow you to develop new skills, find your personal strengths and meet new people. With a Canadian working holiday visa, GLC participants aged 18 to 30-35 receive year-long support as they live, work and travel in all parts of Canada. GLC Work & Travel arrival orientations are held in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal.
The GLC Work & Travel Package includes:
- Airport transfer on arrival
- 2 nights’ hostel accommodation plus breakfast
- GLC arrival orientation: Social Insurance Number, bank account, helpful tips on finding accommodation and jobs (1.5 days)
- Hostelling International membership (1 year)
- WWOOF membership (1 year)
- 6 hrs free internet service at many hostels in W. Canada
- SIM card for unlocked cell phone
- Mail reception / forwarding service
- Welcome party with arrival group
- 24-hour emergency support for up to one year
