Homestay
For participants who register in the GLC Homestay Program, your host family will be an important part of your life. By living with a Canadian family, you will learn about local culture and Canadian family life, as well as hoave the opportunity to speak English in a natural environment.
As part of your homestay, you will receive:

a fully-furnished private room

three (3) full meals per day, including breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks)

an orientation to the public transportation options near your house

an open invitation to join your host family's activities and home life
GLC host families are chosen for their commitment to the success and enjoyment of your stay in Canada. To ensure quality and security, the GLC Coordinator interviews each family, inspects the whole house, and conducts a background check for all adult memnbers living in the home.
